Yesterday (17th/03/2011) we went by coach to Kinderdijk and The Hague. Kinderdijk is a village in the Netherlands, about 15km east of Rotterdam. Kinderdijk is very famous, because there are some wind mills. The wind mills are very typical things in Holland. There are 19 wind mills in Kinderdijk. The wind mills work with wind (obviously), but they don't grind wheat or something similar, they control the level of the water of the rivers that are near of them. We went inside a wind mill, and it was very big and beautiful, all done with wood.
Then, we went to the coach and we went to the Hague, is the home of the Queen of Holland, a very very beautiful and big palace. We made a tour visiting some places of the Hague (the Queen's palace, is very beautiful and huge church...) and then, we had free time for buy souvenirs and other things. Then, we went to the coach again and we arrived to Breda. It was a very cool excursion! :D
